Vivacell is seeking VAS&IM engineer for its Operation in Juba-South Sudan

MAIN FUNCTIONS
|
|
The VAS I&M Engineer is responsible for providing below functions:
- Operation, maintenance and administration of VAS network & applications.
- Design and implementation of commercial VAS Products & Services.
- Design, Development of in-house applications, services and tools.
- Integration, testing and commissioning of VAS projects.
- Implementation of new features and functions.
- Service testing, troubleshooting of system issues and vendors ticket handling.
- Optimization of solutions. Reports development and generation.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Operating Systems, Databases Programming – Working confidently on Unix/Linux/Windows platforms, good programming & scripting skills. Good skills in database administration including Oracle and SQL.
- Design, Development & Integration – Understanding and exposure of VAS solutions design, network integration and in-house application development.
- OAM and Troubleshooting – Good knowledge, skills and exposure of operations, maintenance and technical support of VAS Systems including E Top Up, SMS-C & Messaging, ADM and Subscription/Provisioning solutions.
- Writing - Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
- Customer Excellence, Passionate, Attention to details, Team orientation, Communication, Problem-solving, Planning & organizing, Interpersonal Skills.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering /Computer Science /IT /Computer Systems Engineering/ Software Engineering.

WORK EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 4 to 5 years in related work.
